TARA BEACH
Owner/Stylist
Tara began her training at Studio West Salon as an assistant when the salon first opened in 2006. She is now a successful hair stylist and possesses proven dependability and leadership qualities that have led to her ownership of the salon. Tara has been raising the standard of the salon through education and she plans to continue it through her career. Through continued education, Tara has specialized as a Great Lengths Extension Artist, with great feedback from brides and other clients. Tara can create any look an individual desires, including short, long, greater volume, chemical-free highlights, fun colours that won’t fade, or a combination of any of the above through the application of the most beautiful extensions in the industry. Tara takes great pride in her work and is very proud of her precision cutting, colouring, and styling. Tara focuses on her strong worth ethic, customer service, and growing clientele.

SHELLEY KEMPPAINEN
Senior Stylist
Shelley has always had a strong interest in the beauty industry. Her career began in 1993, and in 2011 she found her home at Studio West Salon. Shelley’s passion is to create beautiful hair to customize your look, express your individuality, and suit your lifestyle. When you’re in Shelley’s hands, her outstanding customer service, communication, and personal approach become an experience just for you. She dedicates herself to continual education, always evolving and learning in hopes of inspiring others.

STACEY GARTON
Senior Stylist
Stacey has been a professional hairstylist since 1990. She brought her terrific experience to Studio West in 2011. Stacey started her training in Thunder Bay and continues her education through hair shows and seminars. She believes that one should never stop learning, and her constant desire for new knowledge keeps her modern. She continues to learn new techniques and trends she can pass on to clients. Stacey loves achieving individual looks that match the personalities and lifestyles of her clients and then teaching her clients to achieve the same looks. Stacey’s goal is always to provide her clients with the highest level of service by being positive, pleasant, and professional.
SARA PUGH
Stylist
Sara has been interested in hairstyling her whole life and dreamed of working in a salon. Her dream became a reality in 2011 when she became a Studio West stylist, just three months out of school. Sara believes in continual education and strives to stay at the forefront of her field. Dedicated to seeing you leave the salon with a smile on your face, Sara will give you a great hairstyle and a great laugh!

ISABELLA CARPINO
Stylist
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Isabella has been assisting in salons since she was 14, leading to her passion and career as a hair stylist. She's eager to learn new techniques and trends and is always up for a challenge. She specializes in blonding and colouring services such as balayages, lived in blondes, and dimensional brunettes. She also loves precision cutting, especially bobs. Above all, her favourite part of her career are her clients. There is nothing more special to her than building relationships with her clientele, especially being apart of someone's special day as she loves to travel for wedding services. Outside of work she loves to spend time with friends and family, try new foods, pick up new hobbies, and search for the best iced vanilla latte that Thunder Bay has to offer! Marina is new to hair styling but is no stranger to the salon! Marina has been an assistant since 2018, ultimately building her confidence and salon knowledge from afar.
